Telecom Sector – Infrastructure Inspection Services

Ensuring quality, safety, and compliance through professional third-party inspections for Telecom Towers, Shelters, Civil Foundations, and Electrical Installations.

Telecom Service Detail

Telecom Industry Overview

Telecom towers have rapidly expanded across cities due to the tremendous growth of the telecom sector. With the emergence of 4G, 5G, and upcoming technologies, telecom infrastructure deployment continues at an accelerated pace.

Telecom infrastructure companies act as the backbone—providing towers, shelters, DG sets, power systems, and other essential utilities required for seamless network operations.

The key challenge: **ensuring fast deployment while maintaining uncompromised quality standards**.

TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT IS A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION

Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI)

Conducted at manufacturer premises (Tower, Shelter, DG sets) to verify material quality and quantity before dispatch.

For Telecom Towers:

  • Dimensions & member thickness as per approved drawings.
  • Galvanizing thickness checks.
  • Material conformity as per design requirements.
  • Verification of member quantity as per BOQ.

For Telecom Shelters:

  • Dimensions & material thickness verification.
  • Completeness as per BOQ.
  • Material conformity to design criteria.
  • ISMB channel specifications & lengths.

Post-Erection / Installation Inspection

Conducted at telecom sites after installation to verify workmanship and structural integrity.

Telecom Tower Checks:

  • Verticality check.
  • Water level check / Centre-to-Centre distance of pedestals.
  • Torque tightening verification.
  • Missing member verification.
  • Strengthening inspection as per approved drawings.

Telecom Shelter Checks:

  • Water level check for foundation ISMB.
  • Water seepage inspection.
  • Proper flashing, riveting, AC opening checks.

Civil Work Inspection & Certification

1. Pre-Concreting Inspection

Ensures shuttering, reinforcement, depth of pit, PCC, and alignment are as per approved drawings and BBS.

2. During Concreting

Ensures concrete mixing (M20 ratio 1:1.5:3), cube sampling, and pour card documentation with certification.

3. Post-Concreting

Final surface checks, shuttering removal, and mandatory curing validation.

Electrical Work Inspection & Certification

Inspection includes earth pit resistance, cable specifications, workmanship quality (crimping, routing), and operational checks of DG, SMPS, and PIU.

Loading / Structural Suitability Check

Performed to determine if additional antennas can be installed on existing towers/poles by analyzing available structural capacity.
